That bit about those who bemoan the lack of "spaces" on the internet for paedophiles who have allegedly not crossed the line into pederasty reminds me of the UK's foray into sex offenxer rehabilitation.

The concept was simple. Establish a safe space in which rapists and kiddie diddlers can discuss the fantasies which drive their offending, their actual offending behavior, and gain victim empathy somehow. All this facilitated by untrained prison guards following the instructions of some Canadian program the Brits picked up on the cheap.

In other words, rape school. These boys took notes, brainstormed (noncestormed?) and came away with all sorts of new ideas. Result: outrageously increased recidivism and (wait for it) . . . a marked escalation in the severity, violence and cruelty of those subsequent offences! Some guys decided to give children a try, others thought restraints sounded fun. Others learned the value of team work in sex offending. This really happened.

So maybe not with the nonce encounter groups?

These NPCs are going live in confusing times. They, like us, lived in a Truman Show, but they believed it all. They never questioned anything because The Show said so! Now the Show is cancelled.

I just came across a lefty woman who is using the theory of “Extinction Burst” to explain the MAGA explosion the country is experiencing.

this theory says that the current shift toward the right is just the final tantrum of a movement bordering extinction and is further proof of eventual leftist victory. so apparently Trumps violent march through the institutions is just the last gasps of a dying patient.

I almost admire their childlike hope that the astroturfed reality they have been fed is on the right side of history.

“keep fighting! we are almost there comrades!"

I'm more concerned with the right letting victory slip through their fingers. US Aid granted all sorts of benefits to the Left, favouring them for engineering, bureaucratic positions and also doling out patronage to their 'artists' and 'creatives'.

If the Right has access to the same resources, it must begin to channel them towards their own, failure to provide patronage dooms the right and honestly will prove the Left deserves to win. The reason being; failure to seize victory and the Mandate of Heaven so to speak merits punishment, and as a writer I can tell you this stuff takes untold amounts of time. Time is a currency, and there's a finite amount of it so there's a finite amount of books I can write in my life time.

There's a finite amount of sculptures, buildings, paintings, tapestries and such that other creatives can build, so that we must favour our own and stop reacting to the left.

Right-wing engineers in engineering positions, right wing scholars for top university posts, right wing artists to be patronised and for grants, and right wing bureaucrats to beat down and tear apart the left.

Anything less and it is a betrayal.

Agreed but it makes a certain sense that you have to rip the guts out first. These institutions are totally captured. It would be difficult to keep the money flowing and clean house at the same time. The money spigot has to close in order to wash away all the rot, or else it will just adapt, lay low, and metastasize later on. The people inhabiting these places currently are so steeped in cultural malaise that they won’t be shaken out of it in a 4 year Trump term. I think incremental change and “playing the system” was Trump’s strategy the first time around, and that didn’t work, the system just bucked him.

It's promising that unless I hallucinated it ( passionflower drops are great for insomnia but you must be careful with them ), over the weekend, Trump fired the entire Board of the Kennedy Center and has appointed himself its new chairman/president, or whatever.

As you know, traditionalists have opposed what you are suggesting and Trump has just done ( he also reissued the executive order from his previous term that new government buildings be built according to classical standards of architecture, which Biden, a committed dolt and vulgarian before dementia covered him with immunity for his awfulness, rescinded ), but this has always seemed to me because such people either didn't give a damn about the arts or were making destructively consistent ideological stands.

Everything's politicized for the left. Brutalism and ugly box buildings in general were developed by leftists, so therefore good. Old buildings with pretty outside detail were developed by dead white men of the right, so therefore bad. Plus once something gets politicized, well, everyone just kind of falls into the appropriate buckets without being told because the other side disgusts you.

For an interesting counterexample you can look at Nathan Robinson's pieces on architecture in Current Affairs--he argues liking symmetry and detail is an intrinsic human preference seen in other cultures and a lot of the big ugly box buildings are preferred by corporations.

That they’re, ironically in a sense, the ultimate conformists. For all the talk of MAGA being a cult, and maybe some people do in a sense worship it, intersectional leftist dogma is the most cult-like thing I have ever encountered in my life. There’s nothing that their thought leaders could command them to do that they wouldn’t then execute.

It is incredible, and at least a little funny, that instead of purging any influence of pedophiles from their movements, leftists instead end up propping them up in order to not play into “fascist” propaganda or what have you. It’s just a totally bizarre self own that illustrates how far detached from public sentiment - from reality - that the echo chambers and academic mental gymnastics leftists immerse themselves in truly are. It’s the ultimate self parody that would’ve been satire 10 to 15 years ago, to be so against anything even vaguely right coded that one arrives at, “yeah, pedophiles actually *are* the real victims here”. As an aside here, it’s beautiful that this is all coalescing at the same time that you have Kendrick Lamar outright calling his top musical rival a pedo on national TV at the Super Bowl and has the whole crowd singing along lol. What a wild time to live in.

Tbh, I’m totally okay with oppressing pedophiles. I don’t care if they chose their sexuality or not. We should oppress them even harder than we do now.

The left likes to take credit for a victory that was delivered by nationalist rage, bolstered by the steroid of western capital. Stalinism simply provided the totalitarian terror-state overlay: the equivalent of the machine guns at the back of the penal battalions.

And yet the progressives - who would have been killed in Stalin’s camps before the Great Patriotic War even started - persist in the belief the war was fought to liberate German kids from transphobia and uphold the rights of adults to have sex with them.

Great article again. One of the next moves is to weaponize these people’s posts against them, because the internet is forever.

As mentioned in your article about how Commies only come together against “fascism”, this can be an easy way to signal to the normies who they can just dismiss without engaging with.

I know a lot of people in the Online Right don’t care about the normies, and they are correct the popular masses will never save us. That doesn’t mean that having the normies on side, or even just not actively against you has no benefit.

If someone makes a Hitler claim, the proper thing to do is encourage the normies to forever ignore this person and their opinion because they are a commie. Most normies know that commies tend to hide their communist ideology under other labels “social liberalism”, “social market”, “progressive” etc.

The one thing all these people have in common is they will say Trump = Hitler. That’s what all they agree on, and it’s such a simple rubric to follow because it’s true. Thus the following tactic:

You say Hitler.

We say Commie.

You say “no but I’m a super duper moderate liberal sorta conservative who’s just very very serious about Trump beginning Hitler 2.0”

We say “Commie tells the lie all Commies tell” toss in good meme and move on.

Are these people actual dyed in the wool Marx lovers? Or are they James Lindseying all the way to pseudo gay race communism via Post blah blah blah. IT DOES NOT MATTER.

The point isn’t to be correct in political theory terms, the point is to place the opposition immediately into a camp that is discredited and reviled so they never even get the chance to be influential.

Which, is EXACTLY what they have been doing to do to us for the entire Postwar Era.

The masses will pick up on this, and the internet is forever. Any time any of these people ever start getting some traction on some topic, just immediately point out them saying Trump = Hitler, allowing the discredit machine to continue on.

When the normies ignore your opposition, then your vanguard can march downhill, the wind on their back, in 78 degree weather with the sun on their face to victory. Instead of being suspicious, the normies will cheer them on.

Aside from that, excellent post as always!
